Day 12: Merry Christmas!  Today, we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Jesus was God’s gift to the world. The three wise men brought gold, frankincense, and myrrh to Baby Jesus. Gold was a gift for a king. Frankincense was a gift for a high priest, a mediator between man and God. Myrrh was a burial ointment meaning that Jesus would die for the salvation of us all. Our donors and volunteers have made this community project possible for 69 years, and we are so thankful that you have allowed us to make Christmas a little easier for those who are less fortunate in our community. Thank you Blount County for your continued generosity.
